Navigation in Zmapper

From ZBrush Info

Jump to: navigation, search

As in ZBrush proper, ZMapper provides quick ways of viewing your model from different angles, zooming in and out, and so forth. These are described below.

Rotate Model: Click and drag on the model or the display background. If the Spin switch in the control panel is on, the model will continue to rotate after the mouse button is released, in the direction of the drag. The speed of the rotation corresponds to the speed of the mouse at the end of the drag.

Pan Model: Hold down the space bar while you click and drag the mouse on the model or background.

Zoom Model: Right-click and drag on the model or background.

Note that these controls can also be accessed using the buttons in the Transform Comlumn of the ZMapper interface. The hotkey navigation controls described above will only work if the Rotate button in the Transform Column is activated. If you find the navigation controls are not working as described, double check the Transform column and make sure the Rotate button is activated.
