David Giraud: Sculpting an Old Man & Sculpting Hair
By Ryan Kingslien in tips-N-tricks, sculpting | 3 comments
David Giraud has put together some great timelapses of him sculpting hair and an old man.
The first video, Sculpting an Old Man, is large and may take some time to load. However it is well worth the wait to see a master sculptor put life into digital clay. The way he sculpts the hair and wrinkles is fantastic. We will have to get him to share the brush he uses.
David’s next timelapse is a shorter example of him sculpting hair out of a basic sphere. He makes extensive use of Alpha 58 and you can see how he slowly builds up the volume to great effect.

Videos are great but i would be more than happy if you can upload them as .mov files or to someplace different than veoh. It tries to redownload in some strange stuations and its a big problem if the video is long like this one.
