Sculpting with the Slash2 Brush

The Slash2 brush is a great brush for sculpting scales and other similar details. The Slash2 brush is based on the Standard Brush. Its behavior comes almost entirely from the Alpha palette. Using the MidValue setting in the Alpha palette it pushes and pulls your geometry at the same time, elevating one part of the model and pushing back another.

never would’ve thought of using it that way, curious about something, if you flip the alpha horizontally so you can use the stroke in the opposite direction you get an extra bump on what should be the soft edge of the alpha/stroke, why is that?

Hey Spaceboy412, I haven’t been able to duplicate this. Do you get the same result if you use a slow brush stroke?
